Press and data sources
TBTflow publishes free daily pages on NSE and BSE F&O activity. Writers and researchers can cite them with a source line and share their links. This page lists the data, how to cite it and what it cannot tell you.
What TBTflow is
TBTflow measures market activity and shows it as data: order flow, open interest, gamma, futures basis and scans. It is run by MarketQuants Private Limited, an Indian company. Company details are on the about page. How the data is recorded is on how our data is built.
Public data you can cite
| Data | Updated |
|---|---|
| FII and DII cash market | Every evening |
| Open interest and build-up lists | After each close |
| Futures, stock by stock | Every evening |
| F&O rollover | Every evening |
| NIFTY option chain, PCR, max pain | Every evening |
| Market breadth | Every evening |
| Gamma blast expiry record | After each expiry |
Many pages also keep a dated copy for each session. Link to the dated copy if your article refers to one day.
How to cite it
Use this line, with a link to the exact page:
Source: TBTflow (page link), data as of [date]. Data readings, not recommendations.
Many pages have a Cite button that copies this line, and a Share button for the link. You can cite our public pages this way and share their links. Any other use, including copying tables, datasets, screenshots or anything from the paid dashboard, needs our prior written permission.
What this data cannot tell you
- Every trade has a buyer and a seller. We show which side initiated it, not who the trader was.
- We cannot show that an institution is buying or selling a stock.
- Labels such as long build-up describe what price and open interest did. They do not say what happens next.
- FII and DII figures are provisional cash-market numbers.
Corrections
If you find an error, write to us with the page and the date. We check it against the source, fix the page if it is wrong, and reply to you.

Read every panel behind these numbers, chapter by chapter.
Trading by the Numbers walks through the quantitative reads behind a modern F&O dashboard — order-flow imbalance, footprints, VWAP bands, OI flow, gamma structure and the expiry endgame — in plain trader-to-trader language.
